New Jib Setup

If you have made the wise decision to purchase a jib, or several jibs, through Stanton Video, this is the visit that goes with it. A highly qualified expert — more than thirty years of extensive experience in the field — comes directly to your site and gives a comprehensive demonstration of how to safely set up, tear down and effectively operate your new jib.

  • A visit to your own site, on your own equipment, by the technician who knows these rigs.
  • Setting up and tearing down, demonstrated properly — the sequence that keeps the rig secure and the crew safe.
  • Operating the new arm effectively, so the first weeks with it are not guesswork.

Not included in the purchase price. The visit is a service in its own right rather than something bundled with the jib. It is recommended for the ongoing safety and efficiency of your business, church or organisation, and for the long-term maintenance and preservation of the equipment itself.

Option 02

Jib Health Check Up

When was the last time the jib was serviced and fully inspected? We all know how crucial it is to look after our bodies in a preventative way, and the rig deserves the same level of attentive care and maintenance. Our highly skilled tech specialist carries out an extensive and in-depth examination of the equipment to confirm it is operating at its absolute fullest potential — and to catch the problems that would otherwise introduce themselves during a production.

  • An extensive, in-depth examination of the equipment, done on site.
  • Confirmation that the jib is operating at its full potential, or a clear account of what is holding it back.
  • Faults and wear found between jobs, rather than discovered mid-shoot.

Why it is worth doing. Equipment that is never inspected does not announce itself until the worst moment. A check up is the cheapest way to keep a jib trustworthy on a production day.

  • Which service you need. New Jib Setup and the Jib Health Check Up are for different situations, and the reply will tell you which one applies to your rig.
  • What it costs. The fee depends on the service and the site. It comes back with the reply rather than sitting here as a figure that would not apply to you.
  • When it can happen. Tell us the dates you are working around and the reply will say what is possible.
  • What happens on the visit. Say what the rig is doing and the reply will describe what the specialist will go through when they get there.
