One team - one phone call

When a production books SSVIDEO, it gets direct access to our team — and a qualified operator from our team builds the rig and operates it day of shoot. Equipment and crew both come from SSVIDEO - a one stop shop.

It matters because camera movement is a skill you cannot hand off mid-job. The operator has to know the shot before the camera goes on the arm, which means there has to be a continuum between the email that books the day and the person standing at the back of the arm at 6am. We pride ourselves in communicating well before and during a shoot/show to make sure every client is completely satisfied with the end result.

The disciplines

SSVIDEO works across the four disciplines that move a camera. Jimmy Jib and Jib operation gives height, reach and a sweeping move from a base that can be built almost anywhere. Steadicam operation walks with the subject through spaces where nothing can be built. Camera Crane / TechnoCrane operation buys scale and distance at the cost of a longer build. Video production sits outside those four — it covers the jobs where the movement is one part of a wider shoot, alongside the other options listed above. All four are set out together on what we do.

Our headquarters are located in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona, but we proudly travel locally, regionally, and nationwide to serve our diverse clientele and meet their unique production needs — serving all 50 states.
